ieBizSites is a service of EinShine, Inc. We build pre-made websites for local businesses, and if a business subscribes, we host their site and register a domain for them. This policy explains, in plain English, what information we handle in each of those situations and the choices you have.
The short version:
We collect only what we need to run the service and bill for it. We never see your full card number (our payment processor, Square, handles that). We do not sell or share your personal information, we don't run advertising or session-recording tools, and you can manage or cancel a subscription yourself at any time.
Who we are
This website (iebizsites.com) and the ieBizSites service are operated by EinShine, Inc., based in Beaumont, California. For questions about this policy or your information, use the contact details at the bottom of this page.
1. When you visit this website
If you're just browsing iebizsites.com, we handle very little:
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include, and use it only to reply.
- Server logs. Our server records standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. These logs aren't used for advertising and are kept only for a short period.
- Google Fonts. This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts; your browser's request means Google may receive your IP address. We set no advertising or tracking cookies.
2. When you subscribe
If you claim and subscribe to a website, we create an account for your business and collect:
- Account details — your name, email address, business name, the plan you chose (monthly or annual), and your free-trial and billing dates.
- Payment references — when you enter card details, they go directly to Square (our payment processor) from your browser. We never receive or store your full card number or security code. We store only the identifiers Square gives us (a customer ID, a saved-card ID, and a subscription ID) so we can manage your billing.
- Any changes you request — if you send us corrections to your site during setup, we store that note (up to a couple of paragraphs) so we can make the edits.
- Email preferences — if you tick the optional box to receive helpful updates, we record that choice and the time you made it. It's optional and separate from the account emails below.
Emails we send you. We send a small number of account/transactional emails — a welcome email when you subscribe, and a reminder a few days before your free trial ends — through our email provider, Resend. These are part of the service. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe option.
Managing your subscription. To manage or cancel, you request a secure sign-in link sent to your email. That link uses a single-use token that expires after a short time; we store only a hashed reference to your email with it, never the link itself in a way others could reuse.
Your .com domain. As part of your subscription we register and manage a .com domain for you through our registrar, Porkbun. The domain is registered under our account with WHOIS privacy on. We do not send your personal contact details to the registrar — only the domain name and the setting that points it at your site.
3. When we host your business website (our role as a processor)
Once your site is live, visitors come to it. For that data, you (the business) are the controller and we act as your processor — we host the site and keep basic analytics on your behalf, under your direction. Your live site carries its own short privacy policy at yoursite/privacy describing this to your visitors.
What we actually record for your site's visitors is minimal and cookieless: for each visit, the date and time, which page was viewed, the referring site (if any), the browser type, and whether the visitor arrived from one of our postcards. These analytics do not store visitors' names or IP addresses. Standard server logs (kept by us as your host) do include IP addresses for security, briefly.
If we mailed a postcard to your business, we use a mail vendor (Lob) and publicly-listed business contact information to send and track it. Delivery tracking records only the postcard's status, not personal data about your visitors.
Service providers we rely on
We use a few trusted companies to run the service. They process data only to provide their service to us, not for their own marketing:
- Square — payment processing and card storage (billing).
- Resend — sending account and reminder emails.
- Twilio — sending optional SMS/text alerts to account administrators who opt in.
- Porkbun — registering and managing customer domains.
- Lob — printing and mailing postcards.
- Google Fonts — delivering typography.
We don't sell or share your personal information
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), some ad-related data-sharing counts as a "sale" or "sharing." To be clear: we do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There's nothing of that kind to opt out of here.
SMS / Text Message Notifications
EinShine, Inc. (ieBizSites) offers optional SMS text notifications to account administrators who opt in by providing their mobile number and consenting through our platform. These messages are operational and account alerts — for example new sign-ups, payment issues, provisioning status, and system-health notifications.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Your mobile information is used solely to deliver the alerts you have requested.
- Message frequency varies based on your account activity and system events.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for assistance.
Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to not be treated differently for exercising those rights. To make a request, or to unsubscribe from optional emails, email us using the details below and we'll respond. Because we collect so little, honoring these requests is usually straightforward.
Data retention & security
We keep account information for as long as you have a subscription and for a reasonable period afterward for business and legal purposes, then delete it. Visit analytics and server logs are kept only briefly. We take reasonable measures to protect information in our care, though no internet transmission is ever completely secure.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date. If we ever add advertising, third-party analytics, or new data collection, we'll update this policy before doing so.
